The following rules are for your benefit and protection to assure the safe and sanitary operation of our pool and facilities. Parents must inform their children of these rules and instruct them to obey the lifeguards while using the pool.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE RULES may result in barring violators from using the pool area or any other disciplinary action deemed necessary by the Association or pool Management Company.

SUPERVISION OF THE POOL is conducted by a qualified lifeguard and his/her assistants who are under the direct supervision of the pool management company.

COMPLAINTS AND/OR QUESTIONS should be brought to the attention of SERVICE FIRST MANAGEMENT & CONSULTING, INC. which will direct them to Century Pool Management and the Board of Directors.

RULES MAY BE REVISED OR ADDITIONAL RULES ESTABLISHED AT ANY TIME BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

Use of Pool: Residents will be admitted to the pool by using their access cards. In the event you are a resident and do not have an access card, you need to come to the onsite office during business hours of Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Tuesday 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Thursday – Appointments Encouraged.
No resident may use the pool unless Association dues are paid. Anyone delinquent in Association dues or who becomes delinquent in payment of their dues will have their pool privileges revoked.

Guests: Guests must be signed in when entering the pool area. Guests must be accompanied by a bona fide adult (18 or over) resident of the community who is responsible for the actions of the guest. Minor residents under the age of 18 may not bring guests to the pool unless a resident adult is present the entire time the guest is using the pool. There is a limit of 4 guests per household per day.

Lifeguards: Must be on duty before anyone is allowed to use the pool. No one is allowed in the pool area before opening hours or after closing hours. Lifeguard Duties: Lifeguards are responsible for the safe and sanitary operation of the pool. One guard must be on duty supervising the pool. The lifeguard is responsible for checking residents and tenants in.

Radios may be played at a very low volume so as not to disturb other pool users.

Risk: Using the pool or pool area is done at your own risk.

Emergency: The pool will be cleared of all persons in the event of an emergency by three blasts of the guard’s whistle.

Pool Closing: The pool may be closed by the pool manager or lifeguard on duty at any time due to breakdown, operational difficulties, or poor weather conditions.

Enforcement of Rules: The lifeguards are responsible for the strict enforcement of all rules. Any person may have their pool privileges suspended. Suspension will be for a minimum of three days for the first offense, one week for a second. A third suspension will be for a minimum of two weeks to a maximum of the remainder of the year with a mandatory review by the Board of Directors.

Supervision of Children: Children ten years old and under must be accompanied into the pool area by an adult defined as a resident 18 years old or over.

Water Aerobics: Are given by the lifeguards with dates, times, and fees set by the guards. All lessons must be given before or after regular pool times. No lessons may be given during adult or regular swim sessions. One half of the agreed upon lesson fee must be paid to the guard before the start of the first lesson. Please sign up at the pool.

Diving and jumping: Diving and jumping into the pool will be at the direction of the lifeguards. Diving is permitted in the 8 feet section of the pool only. Horseplay, running, pushing, wrestling, ball playing, or any undue disturbance in or about the pool is not permitted.

Clothing: Street clothes and cutoffs are not permitted in the pools at any time. Bathing suits must be worn by all users of the pools whether infants, children, or adults. To protect against sun exposure, tee shirts may be worn over bathing suits. Babies of diaper age must wear snug plastic pants under a bathing suit.

Footwear: No street footwear is allowed on the concrete apron of the pool or wading pool.

Glass containers: Are not permitted in the pool enclosure.

Food: May be consumed behind the lifeguard table or while seated at the tables around the pool only. Walking around the pool area with food is not allowed. Sandwiches, ice cream, popsicles, and other food may not be eaten at poolside. Gum is not permitted. Beverages are allowed by poolside as long as they are in non-glass containers and disposed of properly.

Smoking and alcoholic beverages: Are not allowed at the pool at any time.

Language: No abusive or suggestive language will be tolerated. No profanity will be tolerated.

Floatation Devices, Toys and sports equipment in the pool will be at the discretion of the lifeguard. Rollerblades, roller-skates, skateboards, bicycles and dive sticks are not allowed in the pool area.

Clubhouse: Rooms other than the restrooms are off limits. Enter and exit through the restrooms. Do not enter or exit through the emergency gate in the fence. Strollers and wheelchairs may use the access card doors that face Logan Manor Drive to enter and exit.

Damages: The cost of any property damage to the pool facilities will be charged to the persons responsible for causing the damage. Residents are liable for damage caused by their children or guests. Anyone caught breaking into the pool enclosure before or after pool hours will be subject to legal action as well as loss of pool privileges for the year.Telephone:The telephone is for emergency use only. Pets are not allowed within the pool enclosure. Showers should be taken prior to entering the pool area.

Known health problems: Persons with skin diseases, sore or inflamed eyes, nasal or ear discharge, or any communicable disease shall not be admitted. Band-Aids and other bandages are not permitted in the pool.
